Honeysuckle Cottage was a perfect relaxing break for us.Christines lovely nature and kind welcoming gifts started off a perfect few days.
The cottage is perfect for a couple and has everything you need (If not Christine will help i'm sure),spotless clean with plenty of character and very comfortable bed & ensuite bathroom.Perfect base for the Peak District for walkers or car.We loved Belper riverside gardens,Tissington village,Lichfield Cathedral,Ashbourne town(All Huge wow's).Christine recommended the royal oak not far away for pub meals and it was one of the nicest we've been in.Be sure to ring and book as very popular.Amenities are fantastic,garage-Aldi and the whole of Ashbourne town on the doorstep with spoilt for choice eating places.Middle Mayfield where the cottage is based has a huge amount of history and the buildings some of them been several hundreds of years old including Brookfarm.Squirrells,Pheasant's,owls,many birds and not to mention Christines beautiful Jacob Sheep which you can see by the fence.Ample free safe parking and pin drop quiet.There are also two more cottages,Swallow and Jasmine which all three can be booked together for larger groups.A perfect home from home relaxing break and very fair prices and we will be sure to return as soon as we can.Thank you Christine and you're husband Peter and we wish you success going forward. 10/10

Lovely bijou cottage in a stunning old village. Everything one needs and very comfortable despite the tight bedroom space. Thank you Christine for warm welcome and lovely lemon drizzle cake and fizz. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to explore the dales and Peak National park.

Honeysuckle is a cosy and welcoming cottage. It has everything we needed for our walking holiday and was beautifully clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful, providing homemade cake and Prosecco which was a wonderful welcome. It's just a few minutes drive from Ashbourne and other lovely walks at Carsington Water and Dovedale. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely cottage in nice countryside area. Good meals to be had at the Royal Oak pub nearby. Plenty of places to visit - Carsington Water, Dovedale, Matlock Peak Rail and many more.

We had a lovely stay at Honeysuckle cottage, we were provided with everything we needed for the weekend and our dog was spoilt with treats and a toy. The location is perfect with lots of walks in the countryside and you can walk into Ashbourne to explore the lovely shops and pubs. Will definitely be booking again.

Honeysuckle Cottage was a little gem. Everything you could need there and very cosy. Hostess Christine was a lovely person and very helpful with advice on where to go and pubs to visit. The Prosecco and scones were a lovely treat. We would definitely recommend a visit. A bonus for us was the triplet lambs born a couple of days prior to our visit. We will be going back again
